What Abrar Ahmed has done really well is just kept the stumps in play. Every delivery is at the stumps, someone else needs to follow suit.

This is really good stuff from Abrar Ahmed but they need someone else to do something. He's only got three overs left.

  3. Ind 124-2published at 24 overs

    Target 242

Another tight over from Abrar Ahmed, with just a single coming from the bat of Virat Kohli.

Can Naseem Shah, replacing Haris Rauf, make an impact at the other end?

Abrar Ahmed has been the pick of the bowlers. Things have slowed down for India and that's because he's been doing so well.

Having just bowled three dot balls, the pressure is once again relieved.

  6. Ind 123-2published at 23 overs

    Target 242

The problem for Pakistan is India need just one bad ball every over to complete their chase at a canter.

Haris Rauf bowls one such delivery and sees it biffed over midwicket for four by Shreyas Iyer.

The required rate is so low that India don't have to take any risks.

  8. Ind 118-2published at 22 overs

    Target 242

Abrar Ahmed is an entertainer, isn't he?

While fielding off his own bowling, he accidentally kicks the ball away from himself, chases after it and regathers with a sliding dive.

18 runs and one wicket from his six overs so far.

That was a wonderful shot from Virat Kohli. He got inside of the ball and just rolled the wrists on it. It was a hook, but a controlled hook.

    Target 242

Haris Rauf is sending down rockets but luck continues to elude him.

Shreyas Iyer gets in a bit of a knot and edges the ball through his legs. It could've gone anywhere.

I don't think that wicket will make much of a difference to the outcome of this match, though.

  16. Ind 102-2published at 18 overs

    Target 242

Pakistan's tails will be up after that over.

India remain well on top (they only need 140 from 32 overs) but they'll need to keep their composure following Shubman Gill's wicket. And that's something Pakistan lacked in their own innings.

This is a ripper from Abrar Ahmed. A little bit of magic from him as it pitched on leg stump, hit the shoulder of Shubman Gill's bat and hits the top of off stump. A brilliant knock from Gill but he's outdone by Abrar.

Shubman Gill has no idea what happened and he got a little bit of a send-off from Abrar Ahmed! You often see the drinks break get you a wicket.

    Gill b Abrar 46 (Ind 100-2)

A piece of magic from Abrar Ahmed to get rid of Shubman Gill.

What a delivery. It turns back in and clips the top of the bails.

Giddy applause from Marc to my right. Abrar folds his arms and sends Gill on his way.
