I'd love to know where this England was during the Jos Buttler years. I get that we have Buttler the batsman back but this is an extraordinary turnaround.

Shimron Hetmyer rarely takes a while to get going.

He comes out without a helmet to face Dawson and almost immediately offers a chance in the covers, with the ball landing just wide of the fielder.

The Guyanan then wallops the final ball of the over for six with an expansive sweep.

It went a long way up in the air but it's into the bucket hands of Ben Duckett. That was tough chance under the lights.

The spinner takes a wicket with his second ball as Evin Lewis takes a big swipe at his delivery, sending the ball flying high into the Hampshire sky.

The ball drops almost straight to Ben Duckett in the deep at mid-wicket, with the England opener only needing to take a couple of steps forward to take the catch.

West Indies captain Shai Hope has gone after this and slammed it seven rows back into a couple of empty seats. He is trying to lead by example here.

This wouldn't ordinarily be an awful score after three overs, but when you are chasing 249, it feels like you are behind the game.

It was a good catch from Jamie Smith because there was a bit of sun coming into his eyes.

I felt like Johnson Charles was a bit too one-dimensional there. England knew they can set a field for him and just bowl at him.

Johnson Charles will breathe a little bit easier after that boundary. He was immediately looking at the umpire after the last ball - good awareness of the rules from the West Indies batter.

It looked like an old school pull from Johnson Charles.

  18. WI 18-0published at 2 overs

England start with pace at both ends, having used Liam Dawson in the past two games.

Brydon Carse will take the ball, and he's cast in a golden hue as the sun sets over the stand.

Charles gets off the mark, turning the ball through backward square for, then adds another boundary by swatting a free hit over mid-off.

Lewis runs a leg bye off the next delivery, bringing his opening partner Johnson Charles on strike.

Wood sends down four dot balls to Charles, who also struggled to get the ball away at times at Bristol.
