This is the moment. Harmanpreet Kaur knows much of her captaincy legacy could come down to what happens in the next four overs.

  2. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 15.5 overs

    Sharma c Wareham b Molineux 29 (Ind 110-4)

Partnership broken for Australia and the ground falls silent, but for the cheers of handful of Antipodeans in the stands.

Deepti Sharma with one hoick into the leg side too many. She gets plenty of elevation to heave towards cow corner off Sophie Molineux, but Georgia Wareham is as cold as ice.

Wareham is a few yards in from the boundary but takes is calmly.

  3. Ind 110-3published at 15.4 overs

Harmanpreet Kaur with a powerful stroke through the covers as she whacks Sophie Molineux's second ball to the boundary.

Plenty of bottom hand on that, but it's four.

A couple of balls later and Deepti Sharma slog sweeps it for four.

Are India getting some momentum here?

  4. Ind 99-3published at 15 overs

Georgia Wareham is not frightened to toss it up.

However, her fourth delivery ends up as moon ball and is called as a no-ball as it was above waist height.

Harmanpreet Kaur attempts to hit the free hit into next week, but can only get a single.

Deepti Sharma slog sweeps Wareham's final ball of the over behind square for four, though. More of this needed for India.

That is a much-needed boundary for Harmanpreet Kaur. But it's still a big, big ask for India at a required run rate of more than 10 an over.

Kaur needs to make it happen and you get the feeling that if it's not her, it's not going to be anyone else.

  6. Ind 90-3published at 14 overs

    Finally, a boundary for India.

Ash Gardner drags it down and Harmanpreet Kaur rolls her wrists over the top of it and pulls it to the fence for four.

Australia still in the box seat here.

It looks like scoring has become quite difficult for India after the powerplay. Things have quite slowed down and we are starting to see some concerned looks on the faces in the Indian changing room.

  8. Ind 82-3published at 13 overs

Quite a few pensive faces among the India players waiting to bat. They can sense this one is slipping away from them.

Australia have been on point in the field and Georgia Wareham dives in the covers to stop a Harmanpreet Kaur drive off Annabel Sutherland.

A couple of tight overs and all of sudden India need 10 an over from here.

It could be a big moment in this game. Darcie Brown dived forward and got both hands to it. It could have been a spectacular catch, but she has not pulled it off.

  11. Ind 79-3published at 12 overs

Miserly from Georgia Wareham, who rattles through an over of off-spin costing just four runs.

There's a spilled chance off the second delivery as Kaur hits the ball to Darcie Brown at deep mid-wicket.

India need 73 from 48 balls. The pressure is mounting on Harmanpreet Kaur and Deepti Sharma to play some shots now.

India have risen to the challenge today. They knew what was required of them. They have been far more dynamic on the field.

The disappointment with India is that they got ambushed by New Zealand, which can happen sometimes, but the lack of urgency with which they took on the challenge of chasing a meagre target against Pakistan was disappointing.

Since then, they have looked a totally different team and were brilliant in their last game.

  13. Ind 75-3published at 11 overs

Right then, Darcie Brown into the attack for Australia.

Harmanpreet Kaur latches on to a short-pitched delivery from the Aussie seamer midway through the over and helps the ball on its way round the corner for four.

The required rate for India stands at 8.56 per over.

Must confess, I had not seen a lot of left-arm spinner Sophie Molineux before this World Cup but she's really impressed me.

A good control of length, knows when to attack and defend.

Just the four runs off her second over. She has 1-6.

  16. Ind 63-3published at 9 overs

    Sophie Molineux into the attack.

Here's how India batter Jemimah Rodrigues fell a few moments ago.

That was a terrific diving effort from Sophie Molineux. Such is the fielding standards of Australia that she will put that down as a miss.

  18. dropped catch

Sharma dropped on ninepublished at 9 overs

Harmanpreet Kaur and Deepti Sharma work Annabel Sutherland for five singles before the latter goes for a big booming drive off the final ball of the Australia all-rounder's over.

The ball flashes of the edge to backward point but Sophie Molineux cannot cling on to the catch after a diving effort.

  19. How's stat?!published at 17:31 British Summer Time 13 October

Harmanpreet Kaur has scored 50 runs or more in each of her last three T20 international tournament innings against Australia.

Sophie Molineux, with the direct hit, has done some wonderful fielding - moving around, picking the ball up and throwing in one fluid motion.
