I was right about the time - India are 10 minutes behind and they have to bring someone in to the circle for the last two overs, they are allowed just three outside the circle.

  2. Aus 132-5published at 18 overs

Radha Yadav does well after a lucrative spell for Australia, the left-arm spinner conceding just five from her latest over.

We've got an interesting field here. India have got a gully and Harmanpreet Kaur has put herself there.

  5. Aus 127-5published at 17 overs

Australia are motoring now, they take 12 from that Deepti over and it feels like India are behind the over rate so they may have to bring a fielder into the circle later on.

    Confusion reigns.

Litchfield seemed set to be heading off, but the third umpire says it was still pitching outside leg despite the reverse sweep. It must be based on when the ball was released.

  7. Australia reviewpublished at 16:19 British Summer Time 13 October

Litchfield tries a reverse sweep and is given out LBW. They opt for a review, here we go...

Boof! Perry hits the last over the rope for a maximum. They must be eyeing 140-150 now.

Phoebe Litchfield joins Ellyse Perry, and the pair work Shreyanka Patil around for eight off the first five balls of the over, including a powerful pull for four by Perry.

Great bowling from Pooja Vastrakar. It stayed in the air for a long time and Radha Yadav got into position early which was the most important thing. That was never going to trouble her.

  11. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 15 overs

    Gardner c Radha b Vastrakar 6 (Aus 101-5)

Ash Gardner flings the bat, the ball skews off high into the lights but Radha Yadav makes no mistake at point - good catch, that cannot have been easy.

  12. Not outpublished at 16:12 British Summer Time 13 October

It didn't graze the edge, it must have been bat on ground so Gardner continues.

  13. India reviewpublished at 16:11 British Summer Time 13 October

Gardner has wafted at one outside off stump. It carries to the keeper, but was there a noise? We go upstairs as India review.

It really feels like the World Cup is alive. India look like a team transformed; they are feeding on this crowd and this atmosphere.

  15. Aus 101-4published at 14.3 overs

There's still plenty of batting to come, Australia must be looking at 130+.

Ash Gardner is quickly into her stride, lifting Pooja Vastrakar to the rope at long on with just one bounce.

Deepti Sharma is such an impressive performer, she always brings her A game. If India can get Gardner or Perry out quickly then we get down to the Australia middle order, who haven't actually featured in this tournament much.

  17. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 13.2 overs

    Harris c Smriti b Deepti 40 (Aus 92-4)

The opener rocks back and pulls, but the ball flies straight into Smriti's hands at mid-wicket. There's a bit of a send-off from the bowler as well - there's as much tension as a spring factory out there.

Clever batting from Grace Harris. She is seeing it nicely out there, and it is hard to believe that this is her longest innings in international cricket. It's slightly worrying for India.

  19. Aus 91-3published at 13 overs

As a bowler, do you just bite your lip when the captain drops chances off your bowling? At least that didn't matter too much.

Anyway, Ellyse Perry is in and already working the ball around with confidence and Grace Harris is a few inches short of a six with a lovely drive off Arundhati. She finishes off the over with a dab for four off a stray one down leg side.

Radha Yadav of India celebrates with team mates after taking the wicket of Tahlia McGrathImage source, Getty Images

That was a peach of a delivery from Radha Yadav! Tahlia McGrath tried to hoick that outside of Sharjah but it was a sharp bit of work from Richa Ghosh behind the wicket. I think McGrath felt like she needed to put the foot down for Australia. But it is thrilling cricket that's for sure!
