Bangladesh are really making the most of these conditions. I think we'll see a lot more spin from Bangladesh. The Netherlands' focus needs to be on building a big partnership like Bangladesh did.

Sybrand Engelbrecht, who took a ripper of a catch earlier, is the new man. He starts by pulling for four.

That was a beautiful catch. Caught and bowled. That was a reaction catch.

    O'Dowd c&b Tanzim Sakib 12 (Ned 32-2)

    What's he done?

Max O'Dowd has somehow flat-batted straight back at Tanzim Sakib, who takes a smart catch in his follow-through.

    Trouble for the Dutch.

Max O'Dowd needs to anchor the innings if they are to win.

  6. Ned 32-1published at 5.2 overs

Glorious from O'Dowd. A shimmy down the pitch at Tanzim Sakib to punch through the off side for four.

That can't be the only reason?

What about the fact they really look like biscuits?

Jaffa Cakes are indeed cakes. Reasoning - a cake will go hard when it goes stale or old, a biscuit will go soft.

Vikramjeet Singh is the new man. O'Dowd may now have to make some of the running. He's a powerful man, with curly locks poking out the back of his blue helmet. That's nice from O'Dowd, a handsome drive through the covers for four.

    Frustrating for the Netherlands.

It seemed Levitt had got his eye in and played some beautiful cover drives and was performing nicely. I think he got a bit too frustrated.

    Levitt c Hridoy b Taskin Ahmed 18 (Ned 22-1)

Ah. Not good. The Dutch have lost their first.

It's a bit of a hack from Michael Levitt, the ball spooning to point, where Towhid Hridoy back-pedals for a simple catch.

Just a touch short from Shakib and Levitt gets low to pull through mid-wicket for four. At the other end, I'm pretty sure O'Dowd is using a Kookaburra Bubble bat, which is making me feel nostalgic. I had one of those when I was playing under-11s.

The key thing here for the Netherlands is not to panic. Bangladesh after their powerplay were at 35-2. The Netherlands are 17 without loss. Yes, they are behind on their run-rate but still have that platform.

They just need to not get frustrated with a few dot balls. They need to pace themselves.

Closer than close. Levitt just, and I mean just, over the line when the throw hits at the bowler's end. Dive saved him.

Fetch that. Levitt down low to whip Taskin Ahmed miles over square leg. Good start, this.
