    Result: Littler 3-6 Price

Gerwyn Price after winning Nottingham's final: "I mean the first game is always tough. You are scraping to get two points. Once I'd done that, I sort of relaxed a little bit. I did against Michael, but I wanted to get another win over Luke just to keep on top of him. He's the best player in the world at the minute and he's going to be for some years. I've sit on a table with James Wade and others and I praise him every single day, but I said that I think he will beat Phil Taylor's record at 16 world titles. There's nobody at the PDC at the minute that will stop him Only the younger generation, JDC, people that are going to stop him We can't stop him, he will only get better and better.

On his positivity: "I try to be more positive and it shows on the board. The last couple of years I've been negative on myself. Before the worlds, I had a bit of help with a sports psychologist, just trying to free my mind in the right place and it works but. Sometimes I might say I'm enjoying it and loving it but in the backgroundm it's hard. It's tough travelling but I'm just glad to get a win tonight. Another one over Luke, because I don't think it will last long."

On facing Luke Littler "It's the same as playing Michael van Gerwen, Gary Andersons, you know you need to play well to beat those players. Honestly, it's fantastic. I can't praise him enough. He's done wonders for this sport, for everybody, for myself. We all have to start winning now because in the next couple of years, he's going to be unbeatable."

On Littler attempting three double 20s: "I buckled a little bit, but I got over the winning line. He's brilliant, but he's put the sport back on the map. He's took it to new levels."

On Littler: "He's quiet, he sits on his phone. Similar to me. He only practices 20 minutes before. When he needs to, he will practice for longer."

On going to Cardiff next week: "Wales is going to be a lot of pressure for me. The crowd were against me today, when they're with me it's easier."

A professional darts player who balances the sport with his job as a barber is hoping to rise up the world rankings.

Ryan Meikle, 28, from Leiston, Suffolk, who is ranked 61 in the world, took on then 17-year-old Luke Littler just before Christmas in the PDC World Darts Championship.

While Littler took the 3-1 win, Meikle remained hungry to increase his presence in the sport while balancing his job at Nick's Gents Hairdressing in Saxmundham.

Meikle, who has been cutting hair for the past 10 years, started playing darts when he was a young child, inspired by his father.

"Obviously one day I'd love to be full-time, but I love my job here as well," he said on balancing his darts with his job.

"That's not something I just want to give up that easy because I still enjoy it."

He said he aimed to practise darts "a few hours every day" and it was "handy having a board" at work for quiet moments.

Meikle said he was aiming to make the "next step" by progressing further in competitions and championships.
