Good reception for Nick Kenny as the Welshman makes his way to the stage.

The same goes for Luke Humphries as the world champion walks on to I Predict a Riot by Kaiser Chiefs - the walk-on song he brought in during this year's Premier League.

It's going down well as he does a bit of conducting for the crowd before heading to the oche for a few practice darts.

A very decent wage, if you're at the top level.

Both he and Luke Littler have trousered more than £1m in prize money this year, and they will earn more through sponsorship deals, merchandise and exhibitions.

The final match tonight see Luke Humphries continue his bid for back-to-back world titles.

After winning the battle of the Lukes in last years final, beating teenage sensation Littler 7-4 at Ally Pally.

Humphries is top seed this year and remains on course for another showdown with Littler in the semi-finals.

To get there, though, he first has to get past Newport's Nick Kenny.

Ill, out of form but still a world champion. Snakebite produces a marvellous performance to reach the fourth round.

There are tears in his eyes as he waves to the crowd. It could be the illness but that is a big win for Wright.
