Price 1-0 Cullen (2-1)
We've had a 15-dart hold, a 14-dart hold and now a 13-dart hold.
Gerwyn Price edges back in front but both players have upped it in this second set.
Price 1-0 Cullen (1-1)
Joe Cullen starts with a maximum and that sets him up for the most comfortable hold of the match so far.
Double 18 gets him level in the set - a 14-dart hold with Gerwyn Price nowhere close.
Price 1-0 Cullen (1-0)
The 180s keep coming for Gerywn Price. His fourth of the match helps him to a 15-dart hold.
He hits double 10 at the second attempt and needed to with Joe Cullen handily placed.
Price 1-0 Cullen
There was another big roar from Gerywn Price after pinching that first set.
He looks pumped up and let everyone - including Joe Cullen - know about it.
Price 1-0 Cullen (3-2)
Sloppy leg from Joe Cullen on throw - and Gerywn Price wins the first set!
The Welshman misses darts at double six and double three to give Cullen a glimmer of hope but hits double one.
First set - against the darts - to the Ice Man.
Price 0-0 Cullen (2-2)
It's raining 180s so far in this match - one each for Price and Cullen this leg.
Gerywn Price then misses a couple of darts at double to force a deciding leg, giving Joe Cullen a chance.
However, Cullen misses double 16, Price comes back and hits double five.
He lets out a roar and we go to a deciding leg in this first set.
Price 0-0 Cullen (1-2)
Three legs, three maximums - this time it's Joe Cullen with the 180.
The Yorkshireman hits double 16 to go 2-1 up in the first set.
He looks happier than he did after his last match. So far at least...
Price 0-0 Cullen (1-1)
That's more like it from Gerwyn Price.
Another 180 and this time he has the finish to match it. He gets the 54 out hitting tops at the first attempt.
Price 0-0 Cullen (0-1)

Gerwyn Price feels that throughout the year that his doubles have let him down at key moments.
These two players don't hang about and the pace will suit the rhythm of the other player.
Price 0-0 Cullen (0-1)
Great start and great scoring from Gerwyn Price but if you don't hit your doubles, it will cost you.
So it proves here as he misses tops then double 10, allowing Joe Cullen to come in and take out 70 to hold.
Price 0-0 Cullen
We're off. Joe Cullen to throw first but it's a great start from Gerywn Price as he follows up a 140 with the first 180 of the match.
Price v Cullen
Here we go then. It's walk on time and first to make his way to the oche is Joe Cullen.
A bit of Don't Look Back in Anger gives the Ally Pally crowd an early chance to test out their vocal chords.
Singing turns to boos as Gerwyn Price is announced. Doesn't stop them getting involved with Ice, Ice Baby of course...
Joe Cullen talking to Sky Sports: "There was a lot of tension afterwards. I found a way to use that side of aggression and get through. It was a good performance.
"It is lonely up there if you're getting beat, I've been there a few times. I was up for that game and I want to take that into this game."
Gerwyn Price talking to Sky Sports: "It probably wasn't the best Christmas, we've all been bunged up with a cold, but I won and I'm back and that is all that matters.
"Results haven't gone my way and sometimes I've lost games but fingers crossed my form is back and I've still got a long way to go in this tournament.
"Joe [Cullen] is probably the same as me and hasn't performed as well as he'd have wanted this year. We've had terrible years so whoever wins will be happy."
If you're reading this, our guess is you probably think it is - and while opinion differs, you'd be right.
Darts has been officially recognised as a sport by all of the sports councils in the United Kingdom.
Sport England recognised darts as a sporting activity in March 2005 and Sport Wales, Sport Northern Ireland and Sport Scotland followed suit.
Hit the thumbs if you agree, or disagree.

Dan Dawson
Commentator on Sky Sports
It is a difficult one to call because both of them have had their worst year for a while.
Joe Cullen was very good in his opening game, we're still waiting for that from Gerwyn Price.
Third round - Best of seven sets
Fourth round - Best of seven sets
Quarter-finals - Best of nine sets
Semi-finals - Best of 11 sets
Final - Best of 13 sets
Tie-breaks
From the second round onwards, there will be a tie-break in all matches where a deciding set must be won by two clear legs. If the score in the final set reaches 5-5 then a sudden-death leg will be played. There would be no throw for the bull in any sudden-death legs.

Price & Cullen both fairly feisty characters on the oche, everyone has behaved & got along so far this tournament...could this be the 1st game with words exchanged?
