A brilliant night for him and it justifies his selection. There were question marks over him and Nathan Aspinall and they were both brilliant tonight.
He said he was going to have a new atittude this year and he is backing that up. He's winning ranking events. To get a nightly win and to get it this early as well, second in the table. Plenty to work with and plenty to look forward to.

From the first dart to the last dart Gerwyn Price has been the best player tonight.

Gerwyn Price deserves what is likely to be a first night victory of the season for him.
He was brilliant against both Luke Littler and Luke Humphries and throughout this final, has shown some of his best darts.
For a final win, Price gets three darts at double 20. He only needs one!
A 6-3 win for the Iceman and it is well-deserved.
