Gerwyn Price seems to have found that magical recipe to get past Luke Littler. He is a player that loves being in the spotlight and Littler is always in the spotlight. He just always seems to rise to the occasion.

Luke Humphries talking to Sky Sports: "It was a tough game, Stephen [Bunting] played really well. He's always a tough man to beat. He doesn't give you an inch and you have to fight for every leg. I came back really well and I'm really pleased to beat him.

Luke Humphries is very much business as usual and in the Premier League that is winning and making the final.

Next up, it's semi-final time.

First, Luke Humphries will take on Gerwyn Price before Nathan Aspinall takes on Michael van Gerwen.

Humphries v Price will be up first.

In tonight's first quarter-final, Stephen Bunting was beaten 6-4 by Luke Humphries.

On social media, The Bullet has given his thoughts after a third straight quarter-final exit.

Bunting posted on X: "Not the start I had dreamt about but what an absolute pleasure to be playing in front of these fantastic crowds.

"Still a few nerves and the emotion of the walk on will fade over the weeks. It’s a marathon not a sprint.

"Really looking forward to Exeter next week."

Michael van Gerwen was pushed towards the end but Chris Dobey was just too slow to get going.

It is what we're used to from Van Gerwen, he's always producing in the quarter-finals.

He will feel tonight is a great chance to get in his first final this year.

Of the two, Chris Dobey certainly ended that match as the man on top, having come from 5-2 down to come back to 5-4.

In the end, Michael van Gerwen got the job done and across the whole match, it was deserved.

On the averages, Van Gerwen's 98.96 pipped Dobey's 96.99.

The Dutchman was clinical on the doubles, landing six of 11 chances. Dobey missed 12 of his 16 darts at a double.

Michael van Gerwen probably should have wrapped this match up in that last leg, but Chris Dobey has progressed well as this match has developed.

Needing 90 for a 6-4 win, Van Gerwen goes 25, 15 and then hits bull for the victory!

Harder than it needed to be in the end, but Mighty Mike takes a third consecutive quarter-final victory.

That is absolute quality from Chris Dobey.

For Michael van Gerwen, a hold of throw is all that is needed for a place in the semi-finals against Nathan Aspinall.

A 140 from Mighty Mike sets up an 84 out, but 180 from Chris Dobey gives Van Gerwen the shoulder tap.

Van Gerwen gets the first two darts fine, but misses double 11. On double 12, Dobey breaks.

Too little, too late for Chris Dobey? He finds his third 180 of the night.

On the next visit, Dobey finds another!

Dobey misses two double 16 darts, but he will come back with Michael van Gerwen a mile behind.

Dobey's return involves three more missed doubles, two at double 16 and one on the eights.

Hollywood then splits double four, but edges the leg on double two.

This is another decent performance from Michael van Gerwen.

Chris Dobey will not be happy with how he's played. Going 3-1 down was the problem.

Chris Dobey is growing in confidence now as he finds another 180.

He has an 84 out chance before Michael van Gerwen gets to a finish for a break of throw.

20 and treble 14 are good, but double 11 does not have enough club on it.

Van Gerwen allows Dobey to return for that remaining 11. Three, four and a miss at a double two feels big.

On 56, Van Gerwen goes 5-2 up with a pinned double 20.

Even legs on Chris Dobey's throw have felt like they have been on Michael van Gerwen's, with the scoring being that one sided at times.

But on 154, Dobey has a chance to reduce Van Gerwen's lead. Treble 19, treble 19 and double 20!

An excellent finish that seemed to come from nowhere.

For a break of throw, Dobey gets a dart at the bull and only misses by a whisker.

He's made to pay for that miss as Van Gerwen pins double 20 on a 72 out for a 4-1 lead.

Chris Dobey doesn't seem to be feeling it.

He has played in the Netherlands twice this week and then travelled back. The days of darts can take it out of you but it is the travelling and commuting too.

It feels like a lot of the players are under it.

Chris Dobey does not seem to be at the races from a scoring perspective, with Michael van Gerwen cruising in leg four.

On 121, Van Gerwen goes treble 20, treble 11 and finds double 14 for a big checkout and a break of throw.

This leg isn't a must win for Chris Dobey but it feels like something has to happen for him because that last leg was really poor.

Michael van Gerwen and Chris Dobey are playing at a good pace and after nine darts, Mighty Mike is down to a finish.

A 140 from Van Gerwen leaves double four. After splitting there and the twos, he intentionally busts knowing he will come back.

On his return, Van Gerwen pins it first time.

A pair of single 20s leave the double, but they were blocking the bed, which he goes over.
