    To round off Dublin's quarter-finals, Michael van Gerwen takes on Chris Dobey.

    Dobey reached the final on night one in Belfast a fortnight ago, but suffered a first round exit last week. Both losses were to Luke Humphries.

    Mighty Mike has been consistent so far with back-to-back quarter-final wins, but he's yet to reach a final this term.

    Across the last seven ties between the two, Van Gerwen has four wins to Dobey's three. In the most recent, the Dutchman beat Dobey in the semi-finals of the PDC World Darts Championship.

    Rob Cross is turning up now and a 180 on his throw puts him in control in this ninth leg. Surely he could not repeat the 5-1 comeback that went against him against Luke Littler?

    Cross gets six darts at 102 and the first three end with a miss at double 18.

    Cross lays up double four on his return, but goes either side of the wire with the two darts.

    Nathan Aspinall is down to a finish at 170, but the second treble 20 goes begging.

    Cross no scores with misses at double two and double one and on 65, Aspinall takes the match on double 20.

    Chris Dobey or Michael van Gerwen await in the semi-finals.
