    Littler is not at his best, far from it. Bunting has had no answer when they have met before but this is an opportunity for him.

    After a slow start, Stephen Bunting clicks into gear with a maximum.

    He misses a couple of doubles but hits double 16 eventually to hold.

    He needed that. You can't give Luke Littler the advantage so early, especially given how he played earlier on.

    Luke Littler has made more than his fair share of darts history in his short career, and there is another record up for grabs tonight.

    The 18-year-old has four night wins so far - no player has ever achieved five in the current format.

    He, Luke Humphries and Michael van Gerwen all won four nights in 2024, while Gerwyn Price, Michael Smith and Jonny Clayton have also achieved the feat since this format was introduced in 2022.

    Semi-finalist Stephen Bunting on beating Michael van Gerwen on home soil: "When you are playing in Holland against one of the biggest names in darts you know it's going to be hard. I didn't expect the crowd to be that loud!

    Perhaps the injury did catch up with Nathan Aspinall in the end, he was well beaten in that semi-final.

    Chris Dobey played very well, averaging 100.67 with six 180s, while also making 66.7% of his darts at double - that was always going to be hard to beat.

    By comparison, The Asp was down at 90.03 with four 180s and hit just two of 16 darts at double (12.5%).

    He is somewhat gifted it in this leg a Nathan Aspinall misses countless darts at double.

    Dobey eventually gets himself down to a finish and wins it on double 10.

    Not the prettiest of legs but Chris Dobey's fifth 180 of the match proves decisive.

    That takes him down to 51 with Nathan Aspinall not even on a finish.

    Dobey comes back and takes it out with a double 16. A 14-darter.

    Nathan Aspinall was so impressive in his quarter-final win but his shoulder does seem to be bothering him now.

    That doesn't mean he's just going to give this one up, though.
