    As has been the case in every session so far at the 2025 PDC World Darts Championship, this evening's session will consist of four matches.

    The first three are in the first round, where a meeting with one of the 32 seeded players awaits the winner of those ties.

    The session will conclude with what should be a thrilling second round match between Gerwyn Price and Keane Barry.

    Today saw the first afternoon session from the 2025 PDC World Darts Championship and already, we have our first major shock.

    Former world number two and ex-Premier League champion James Wade was knocked out in the second round by Dutchman Jermaine Wattimena.

    Wade, a four-time semi-finalist, lost 3-0 and won only two out of 11 legs in the match, despite averaging just over 97.

    The 2025 PDC World Championship got under way on Sunday night, with the three first round matches and the opening second round game all taking place.

    Defending world champion Luke Humphries was the headline act of the evening and got his defence off to a winning start against Thibault Tricole.

    Hello and welcome to day two of the 2025 PDC World Darts Championship.

    Already, we have had some big surprises and memorable matches after just two sessions inside Alexandra Palace.

    Tonight's session has four matches, three from the first round and one from the second round, the first which is due to begin in around 30 minutes.
