I didn't expect so many breaks of throw so early on. You can see Gerwyn Price thinks his A-game is good enough to beat Luke Littler tonight, but that was cool, calm and collected from Luke Littler in a high-pressure finish.

A bounce out from treble 20 for Luke Littler is a blow as he leaves 170.

Gerwyn Price finds another maximum to leave double 14.

The fans are desperate for the first 180 of the night.

They thought Littler had done it but he has to tell them to settle down, it was only a 140.

Price gives them what they want a couple of visits later though.

The O2 Arena thinks there's a first 180 of the night from Luke Littler, but the first dart squirms just into the single 20.

He responds by jokingly telling the crowd to calm down.

A 134 leaves 132 to break Gerwyn Price, but Price finds 180 to leave 61.

Singles on 15 and six leave double 20, which The Iceman pins to level up.

Luke Littler talking to Sky Sports: "The nerves will kick in when I walk out into the sold out O2 Arena. The adrenaline will kick in then.

"I'll practice on the doubles and the scoring and make sure that everything is going alright in the final couple of hours.

"The longer format and game suits me and I just can't wait to get out there."

  15. 'I'll keep fighting until the end'published at 19:22 British Summer Time 29 May

    Littler v Price

Gerwyn Price talking to Sky Sports: "I'm not thinking of previous games against Luke [Littler], I'm more thinking of previous big-tournament matches, semi-finals and finals, where I've won. Sometimes my back has been against the wall and I've come out fighting. Whether I am ahead of behind I'll keep fighting until the end. I've got the experience and I'm ready for it.

"For me this is just another tournament. I'll practise and prep like I usually do and hopefully i'll bring my A-game like I usually do."

Boos for Gerwyn Price as he is announced but he hardly seemed to notice.

Real game face from the Welshman before a little smile as he walks on… then he gives it the big one to the crowd when he reaches the stage.

Speaking of walk-on songs, they have just started for this match.

Gerwyn Price is up first, there's a few boos for the Welshman.

On paper, Luke Littler is the favourite. But it is Price who has the better head-to-head record out of the two of them.

Littler is given the better reception, but there is an air of serious tension around the O2 Arena.

  18. What are the walk-on songs for each qualifier?published at 19:21 British Summer Time 29 May

It's one of the best bits of darts - the walk-on music.

Teenage star Luke Littler comes out to American rapper Pitbull's 2016 tune 'Greenlight' which features a catchy "wee-oh, wee-oh, wee-oh, wee-oh, oh, oh" chorus which gets the crowd pumping.

Gerwyn Price strides to the oche to Vanilla Ice's 'Ice Ice Baby' which was released back in 1990 and allows the fans to tap into their love of puns by chanting "Price Price Baby".

Although his family hail from Berkshire, Luke Humphries loves all things Leeds. So unsurprisingly his walk-on song is from English indie-rock band the Kaiser Chiefs, who hail from the city. 'I Predict A Riot' is his anthem of choice.

American rock band The Killers provide the backdrop to Nathan Aspinall's entrance via their 2003 debut hit single 'Mr. Brightside'.

Chasing a second Premier League title in a row, current world champion Luke Littler has found things pretty easy in the world of darts since making his professional debut at the 2024 World Darts Championship.

The closest 'The Nuke' has come to struggling against one individual player is against Gerwyn Price.

'The Iceman' has faced Littler 13 times so far, with Price leading 7-6 in their head-to-head record.

But of Price's seven wins, six were in back-to-back matches between June 2024 and March 2025 including their first two meetings in this season's Premier League.

Littler has won their past two matches in 6-3 victories, ending the nine-month losing streak he had against his semi-final opponent.
