Summary

  1. Humphries holds after Bunting misses darts at doublepublished at 20:54 British Summer Time 10 April

    Bunting 1-1 Humphries

Better from Luke Humphries as he trades 180s with Stephen Bunting.

What does Bunting do? Hit another. He leaves 45 but makes an absolute mess of trying to hit double 16.

Humphries comes back and tidies up 40 for the leg.

  2. Bunting holdspublished at 20:53 British Summer Time 10 April

    Bunting 1-0 Humphries

A leg of dominance for Stephen Bunting.

He can afford to miss double 10 when looking to take out 85 because Luke Humphries is way back.

He returns to take out with his first dart.

There were boos for Luke Humphries when he was shown on the big screen following Luke Littler's win and more ahead of his walk-on.

There were then big cheers for Stephen Bunting so whether it's because he is Littler's biggest rival or just that he's playing The Bullet, Humphries is being cast as the villain of the piece tonight.

  5. Bunting 'took his chances under pressure'published at 20:49 British Summer Time 10 April

He had that little bit of luck last week. Stephen took his chances under pressure.

Even though he's bottom, there still may be a way out of this.

I admire the way he's focused and got on with things.

Time for the final quarter-final of the evening.

It was looking rather bleak for Stephen Bunting and it still looks fairly grim but a night win in Berlin last Thursday delivered his first points of the Premier League season.

He is still eight points off the play-off positions but another nightly win in Manchester and the Liverpudlian will be right in the mix to reach the O2 all of a sudden.

He faces former world champion Luke Humphries who has got back on track with five points over the past two weeks after three successive quarter-final defeats.

Bunting beat Humphries on his way to the Berlin final last week and also got the better of him on the European Tour on Sunday.

  7. Tight on the statspublished at 20:45 British Summer Time 10 April

    Result: Littler 6-3 Price

I expected Luke Littler's average to be higher than Gerwyn Price's but it is only just. He averaged 103.93 compared to 103.47 by Price.

Price actually hit five 180s compared to just one by Littler, but the teenager had more 100-plus and 140-plus scores.

Littler was 54.5% on the checkouts, with Price at 50%.

The stats suggest it was a closer game than the scoreline, but I guess a perfect leg does help.

    Result: Littler 6-3 Price

Well, that was pretty good wasn't it? Luke Littler was sublime and always felt in control but that Price nine-darter is another moment to remember.

It is the fourth of this year's Premier League after Rob Cross and Luke Humphries in Brighton and Littler in Cardiff.

  9. Littler progresses to end Price's winning streakpublished at 20:40 British Summer Time 10 April

    Result: Littler 6-3 Price

Luke Littler gets down to 102 but there's no pressure from Gerwyn Price so he's able to just chip 50 off.

Price finds 180 to put some pressure on but Littler doesn't feel pressure does he?

He finds double tops for the win. The crowd love it.

That ends Price's six-game winning streak against Littler and the teenager taps his watch as if to say "about time".

This might be the most pro-Luke Littler crowd you’ll ever see but they went wild for that Price nine-darter.

I’m off to find a towel after getting covered in beer as pint cups went flying…

  11. Price holdspublished at 20:38 British Summer Time 10 April

    Littler 5-3 Price

Oh! Luke Littler fancies the big fish to win it. He gets down to the bullseye but that strays into 14 instead.

Gerwyn Price comes back to tidy up 64 on double tops.

    This game isn't over yet.

  14. Price hits nine-darter to breakpublished at 20:35 British Summer Time 10 April
    Breaking

    Littler 5-2 Price

    WOW!!

Rob Cross got seven darts into the perfect leg in the previous game but Gerwyn Price goes all the way!

It's magnificent. It never felt like there was ever any doubt about each dart, they are all perfectly in each bed.

The crowd go wild and I can see drinks flying everywhere.

  15. Littler breaks for four-leg leadpublished at 20:35 British Summer Time 10 April

    Littler 5-1 Price

I was just typing that Gerwyn Price has stepped it up but you can't go missing doubles against Luke Littler.

He goes inside on double 12 and then outside on double six and that allows Littler back at 45.

Five, double tops. Break and a four-leg lead.

I just heard a shout of “come on Gezzy!”

I think I might have found the only Gerwyn Price fan in the building.

To say this is a partisan crowd would be a big understatement.

  17. Littler holdspublished at 20:33 British Summer Time 10 April

    Littler 4-1 Price

That's a surprise. Luke Littler needs 40 for to restore his three-leg advantage but misses twice at double 10. That isn't one he misses too often.

Price can't take out 108 though and Littler cleans up his first dart.

It may be the stage presence Gezza is trying to impose has got to Luke Littler in the past.

  19. Price holdspublished at 20:31 British Summer Time 10 April

    Littler 3-1 Price

Oooh! Gerwyn Price opts to lay-up rather than go for bullseye with Luke Littler back on 170.

    Will he regret that? No.

Littler can't find the first treble 20 and Price comes back to clean up.

There's a huge roar and "come onnnn" in celebration too.

  20. Littler holds for three-leg leadpublished at 20:30 British Summer Time 10 April

    Littler 3-0 Price

This is just sensational so far.

Gerwyn Price is a fair way back in this leg, struggling to keep up with the scoring power of Littler, and the teenager hits double 20 for another hold.
