The way James Wade is playing, you just can't see him missing.

Josh has to remember that there is still a long way to go, but when you're 6-1 down it's not a great position to be in.

He's got to try to win a leg, go from there and see what happens. It's his scoring that's letting him down.

    Rock 1-6 Wade

Josh Rock leaves himself 72 but misses a chance to wrestle some initiative by failing to hit tops.

James Wade is as cool as a cucumber by comparison. An 84 checkout sees him land double six to go 6-1 up.

Sure that may of you have holidayed in Minehead during the summer months down the years, but perhaps not so familiar with it in February and March. Although the sun has been cracking the flags the past few days.

    Rock 1-4 Wade

James Wade nails an early 180 and Josh Rock responds with a 180 of his own.

Rock is left 127 but comes up short. Wade has not such trouble with a 96 check out via treble 20 and double 18 to give himself a three-leg cushion at the break.

    It's looking ominous.

    Rock 1-3 Wade

James Wade has not looked flustered but there are already signs Josh Rock is feeling the tension a little bit.

Hitting that double with the first dart will certainly settle him down.

Rock 1-0 Wade (First to 11)

A bit of a scrappy start by both players as they struggle to find the trebles. There's an ironic cheer from the crowd when both players finally make in excess of 100.

Wade is left with 66 to hold throw, but misses tops. Rock has 56 and nails 16 and tops to bag the first leg.

    Rock v Wade

James Wade looked in brilliant form when he beat world number one Luke Humphries earlier and put it down to winning the big moments, rather than focusing too heavily on the averages.

He has just walked on to the oche to Elton John's hit 'I'm Still Standing', sending the crowd at Butlin's bananas.

World champion Luke Littler, speaking to ITV4 after reaching the UK Open final:

"At the second break I heard about Manchester United's loss [in the FA Cup] so it spurred me on a bit for the next five legs.

"I know my doubles aren't the best part of me but there's always room for improvement. My power scoring is there so it gives me the opportunities to have the 20 missed darts at doubles throughout the match. I'd like to hit them first or second try, but I know I'm capable of getting loads of chances at doubles.

"I've said plenty of times that my goal is just to win one of every major. I'm another step closer to adding another major to the tally."

Funnily enough, Jonny Clayton had the highest check-out in that semi - 126, two more than Littler's best.

The Welshman has played some great darts in Minehead and pushed Littler for a while tonight before being blown away.

Another fine showing at this event by Clayton and he'll be back before long.

Luke Littler threw 10 180s and had 41 ton-plus visits in that semi.

Once he sorted his yips at the doubles, he looked unstoppable.

What will Josh Rock or James Wade be able to do about that?
