    Raymond van Barneveld is stuck on 159 and finds 99 of them.

    Nick Kenny has 146 for the match and takes 100 of them.

    Barney misses doubles 20 and 10. That could have been his last visit at this year's World Championship.

    Kenny hits treble 10, gees himself up and then, misses two at double eight.

    On his throw, Raymond van Barneveld hits a 180 to give him a couple of visits to level the set from 88.

    The Ducthman scores three 18s from as many darts to leave a full trio at double 16.

    Barney does not take it and leaves double four after Kenny falters on his 103 chance.

    Back to level the set, Barney pins the fours.

    The Dutchman misses two darts at double 10 and Kenny, still on the eights, misses a trio of chances.

    He starts with a 180 and finds three 100+ visits on the trot to leave three darts at 84.

    A 20 and 14 give him one dart at the bull, but he finds the green bit.

    Nick Kenny has a 120 chance but it does not get going.

    Barney mops up 25 in two darts.

    As Nick Kenny waits on 64, Van Barneveld's Shanghai 120 chance starts and ends with a single five.

    Kenny finds treble 16 to set up two darts at 16, but halves doubles eight and four.

    Two singles from Barney set up a dart at the 18s, which he puts over the bar.

    Kenny goes low on doubles two and one to bust before Barney takes the leg on his favourite double.

    Darts has been officially recognised as a sport by all of the sports councils in the United Kingdom.

    Sport England recognised darts as a sporting activity in March 2005 and Sport Wales, Sport Northern Ireland and Sport Scotland followed suit.

    After nine darts, Kenny leaves himself 124 and he will get six darts at it.

    A throw of 92 gives him three darts at double 16. He didn't force the finish. Sensible.

    Kenny does miss double 16 on both sides, but pins double eight for the set.

    The year may have seemed like a tale of two Lukes - Humphries and Littler - but it is another player who tops the three-dart averages for the year going into the world championship.

    It leaves 121 and although he doesn't take it, he does leave himself three darts at double 15.

    Throwing for a 2-0 set lead, Nick Kenny starts with some low scoring visits, getting some pressure put on him by back-to-back Raymond van Barneveld 140s.

    Barney gets a 139 chance before Kenny gets any darts at a finish, but "Barney Army" chants disappear after a treble-less visit.

    The Dutchman comes back to take out double 20, doing so at the third time of asking.

    Nick Kenny continues his control by starting the second leg of the set with his second 180 of the match.

    A couple of low-scoring visits from Kenny bring Raymond van Barneveld back in the leg, getting a chance at 157, which is not taken.

    Kenny, on 52, wins the leg at double 20.

    Having won the first set against the throw, Nick Kenny gets to throw first in the second.

    A 140 for the Welshman gives him at least six darts at 161 for the leg.

    A bounce out is a blow for the Dutchman, but he later sets up 76 to level the set.

    Before he can get there, Nick Kenny goes to take out 95 for the set, but falls short on the 16s.

    A miss on double 18 from Barney brings Kenny back and the Welshman misses all three darts at it.

    Back on his trademark double 18, Barney goes low there and on the nines. He ends the visit by throwing a dart at two in frustration.

    Kenny then misses doubles four and two before Barney misses two of his own at the twos.

    The Welshman does take the set on double two with his eighth set dart. Poor finishing from both at the end.
