The second semi-final of the mixed team compound open event is under way. Great Britain are taking on Italy.

All four archers opened with perfect 10s.

This is going to be tense.

After a lovely sunny day in Paris, dark clouds have covered the city in the last hour or so. The wind has picked up a bit too.

The GB archers will be used to that, the team's media officer tells me.

Let's see if it gives them an advantage in this semi-final.

"I have been so confident in myself - that was fun. I've improved so much.

"I've still have got one more day but this is a dream come true and what happens, happens."

This has been a very edgy first set, with top seed Alfie Hewett really struggling on serve, and trying to keep his emotions in check.

But for a great sporting gesture by Daisuke Arai to concede a point on Hewett's serve at the end of the set, Hewett would most likely be trailing at this stage.

That sporting gesture may well has swung the momentum back the way of the Brit, who gets over the line for a one-set lead 7-5.

Hewett has just broken early in the second set too...
