The final race of the 2024 Paralympic swimming - and probably the final ever swim race at La Defense Arena - was an absolute barnstormer.

The mixed 4x100m freestyle relay saw the lead change hand multiple times. Italy took an early lead, were reeled in by China, then Canada got in front - all while Australia and USA were also in medal contention.

In the end a phenomenal final leg from Simone Barlaam won the gold for the Italians - and in a world record time too.
