Alfreton Town beat Redditch United to seal title

Alfreton Town beat already relegated Redditch United 4-0 to clinch the Blue Square Bet North title.

Paul Clayton and Liam Hearn both netted twice to earn Nicky Law's side promotion to the Blue Square Bet Premier with two matches left to play.

The Reds, who have lost just once at home this season, have an eight-point lead over second-placed AFC Telford.

Alfreton travel to Gainsborough on Easter Monday before finishing their campaign against Nuneaton on Saturday.
