Worcester-born striker Luke Corbett set up one goal and scored another on his home debut as Worcester City earned their first win of the season.
City took the lead 10 minutes in as Corbett squared the ball for midfielder Matt Birley to drill it past Vauxhall keeper Scott Tynan inside the far post.
Corbett scored a penalty midway through the second half after Michael Jackson handballed Rob Elvins' rasping shot.
Worcester host title-favourites Halifax at St George's Lane on Saturday.
