Harrogate Town suffered a heavy 5-1 defeat at Solihull Moors in Blue Square Bet North.

Dom Langdon, Lee Morris and Stuart Pierpoint put the hosts 3-0 ahead before Paul Brayson pulled a goal back for the visitors.

But ny hope Town had of securing an unlikely point was extinguished by Jordan Fitzpatrick's quick-fire late brace.

Manager Simon Weaver told BBC Radio York: "It's a disastrous result."

He continued: "We've set some kind of standard over the last three games and we've gone backwards really today. It's a horrendous day.

"I think we started the game poorly. At any level you've got to start the game really positively.

"I've just said I think they've got to be more up front with each other and not be afraid of feelings on the pitch."
