Truro City boss Lee Hodges focuses on upcoming games

Truro City boss Lee Hodges says Saturday's trip to Eastleigh marks the start of a key part of the club's season in the Blue Square Bet South.

City opponents on Saturday have lost just once in their last six matches.

"We'll be trying to get something from the game but the next month, March, is the key month for us," Hodges said.

"We've got seven games and the aim is to pick up as many points as we can and to be finished in March so that we're comfortably safe."

He added to BBC Radio Cornwall: "It will start against Eastleigh and we'll be aiming to get something from the game."

Stewart Yetton does not travel as he continues to recover from a knee injury while goalkeeper Tim Sandercombe is still out.

But Hodges does have on-loan Plymouth Argyle custodian Ollie Chenoweth after he extended his loan spell with City.

But fellow keeper Tom Brooks has left Treyew Road following Chenoweth's continued stay.

"He has made it clear that he doesn't want to remain with the club and wants more time with his family. I won't stand in the way of anyone who no longer wants to be with Truro City," Hodges explained.

"I am grateful to him for his service to the club. He has been a model pro.

"I appreciate it must have been a frustrating time spending such long periods on the bench, and I can understand that he would have wanted more game time."
