Steve Davis warns Crewe Alexandra players over deals

Crewe Alexandra manager Steve Davis has told some of his players they will have to improve to earn new contracts.
Davis was left unhappy after his team drew 3-3 having surrendered a 3-1 lead to AFC Wimbledon.
He told BBC Radio Stoke: "I don't want players here who can't cope with pressure, and some of them won't get contracts playing like they did."
Futures at stake, warns Davis
Davis became manager in November and the Alex are ninth in League Two, their highest position of the season.
"The result hurt me and my staff, I hope it hurts the players. I don't want to see those performances that I got fed up watching for the last two years," he added.
Meanwhile Crewe are set to sign former West Ham United full back Jordan Brown on a short-term contract.
