Truro City secured their first win in six matches as they beat Boreham Wood 2-1 at Treyew Road on Tuesday night.
Marcus Martin opened the scoring for the White Tigers after 11 minutes but David Bryant equalised soon after.
But Stewart Yetton struck a 56th-minute winner to move City seven points clear of the relegation zone.
"I couldn't have asked for any more. Everyone played their part and I feel we deserved to win," manager Lee Hodges told BBC Radio Cornwall.
"I couldn't be any happier. For 90 minutes I thought we were outstanding.
"We got in their faces. We didn't allow them a minute on the ball all over the park and we got our rewards which we really deserved."
