Oxford United's Liam Davis out for two months
- Published
Oxford United left-back Liam Davis has been ruled out for up to two months after having a second operation on his injured groin.
An initial operation at the end of the season failed to clear up the injury.
Davis, 25, made 46 appearances for the U's last season, having signed from Northampton in the summer.
"It's a shame but we're confident this will clear the problem up and he'll be back after the first month of the season," said U's boss Chris Wilder.
