Lee Hughes committed to Notts County - Keith Curle

Notts County manager Keith Curle says veteran striker Lee Hughes is now focused on starting the season at Meadow Lane.
The 36-year-old former West Brom star has attracted interest from Oldham Athletic and Cheltenham Town this summer and seemed likely to leave.
But Curle told BBC Radio Nottingham:, external "Initially he was of the mind his future was going to be elsewhere.
"Now he thinks he has an opportunity to progress his career here."
Curle said that Hughes, who has scored 60 goals in 126 games for Notts since joining from Oldham in May 2009, must accept watching from the sidelines from time to time.
"Lee's a goalscorer and every team needs a goalscorer," Curle added.
"But we know he is of an age where he won't be playing for 46 games, so he needs to be managed."
