Sammy Moore: AFC Wimbledon midfielder out for three months

AFC Wimbledon midfielder Sammy Moore will be out for at least three months after scans discovered a small fracture at the top of his shin.

The 25-year-old sustained the injury in Saturday's 1-1 draw at Fleetwood.

Moore, who joined the Dons from Dover two years ago, has scored two goals in 14 appearances this season.

Physio Mike Rayner said: "The fracture is not displaced at the moment and the first four weeks are therefore vital in the recovery process."

Moore tweeted: "I've come back once I will come back again hungrier, fitter and stronger. Hard work starts now."
