Premiership leaders Jersey Scottish beat Championship leaders Trinity 2-0 in the Le Riche Cup second round.

Calvin Weir and Joe Murphy were on target for the champions.

Guernsey league leaders Belgrave Wanderers eased to a 4-1 win over St Brelade in their Le Riche Cup debut.

Carl Wallbridge gave them a 13th-minute lead, Kyle Hampshire then equalised just after half-time, before goals from Simon Marley, Chris Young, and a second from Wallbridge sealed the win.

But the other Guernsey side in the tournament, Vale Rec are out, after losing 3-2 at St Lawrence.

Despite being third in the Priaulx League and knocking out First Tower United in the first round in September, Vale had no answer for the Jersey Premiership new-boys.

Nathan Strzelecki gave St Lawrence an early lead before Mauro Zimmerman equalised just before half-time.

But two penalties from Matt Westwood sealed the win for the Jersey side, despite Sean Mills' late consolation.

Island midfielder Jamie Mourant hit a hat-trick as Jersey Wanderers cruised past Beeches 6-1 while second-half goals from Mark Chipperfield and Bruno Pires saw Rozel Rovers beat Magpies.

But three of the matches were postponed because of rain, with reigning Le Riche Cup champions St Paul's clash with Portuguese Club, St Clement's tie with St Peter and , St Ouen's trip to St John all having to be rearranged.
