Bristol Rovers scored three times in the opening 20 minutes to set up a comfortable victory over Dagenham.
John-Joe O'Toole set the ball rolling from close range, Oumare Tounkara rounded Jonathan Miles to slot home and Danny Woodards side-footed a third.
Dagenham pulled one back when Medy Elito bundled home but Rovers restored the lead after the break when Tounkara smashed the ball in off a post.
Jake Reed then tapped home Femi Ilesanmi's cross for a consolation.
Dagenham have now gone five games without a win and are three points above the League Two relegation zone.
VIEWS FROM THE DRESSING ROOM
Bristol Rovers manager John Ward told BBC Radio Bristol:
"I'm delighted, especially as it came only 48 hours after a really big effort at home.
"I wasn't certain Tounkara could get through 90 minutes, as he hasn't done that in recent months.
"But we knew he could be a threat and he lifted the team.
"We showed some naivety at times, but in the main it was an excellent win."
