Wolverhampton Wanderers have signed Wigan Athletic winger Nouha Dicko on loan until the end of the season.

Dicko joined Roberto Martinez's side in August 2011, penning a three-year deal after moving from Strasbourg.

The 20-year-old Frenchman, who made his Latics debut last season, made three appearances in the FA Cup in January.

Wolves have also completed the signing of Slovakia international goalkeeper Marian Kello on a short-term deal until the end of the season.

Kello will act as cover for Dorus De Vries, who is expected to be Wolves' number one for the rest of the season following Carl Ikeme's freak hand injury.

Wolves also last week recalled Republic of Ireland Under-19 keeper Aaron McCarey from loan at Walsall.

Dicko will help counter the loss for the season of Bakary Sako, who, like Ikeme and midfielder Dave Edwards, was also ruled out for the season following Wolves' 2-1 home win over Bristol City a fortnight ago.

Like Kello, he will be available for selection against Middlesbrough on Saturday.

"He is a young player with good pace," said manager Dean Saunders. "That is something I think will be important for us over the final eight games.

"We needed to do something, having lost three players a fortnight ago, and Nouha will bring something different for us.

"He is someone who can play across any of the forward positions, whether out wide or down the middle, and that pace could be vital especially away from home."

Wigan have an option to recall the youngster within 28 days.
