Guernsey FC picked up three points form a possible six in their Combined Counties League weekend double-header.

The Green Lions gained revenge for last Tuesday's 2-1 defeat at Hanworth Villa, by beating them convincingly 5-1.

But they went down 2-0 to Chessington and Hook United on Sunday.

With leaders Egham Town drawing 1-1 at Horley Town, the Green Lions are 15 points behind them with five games in hand, having played 10 of the 16 fixtures they have scheduled in April.

Dave Rihoy hit a hat-trick against Hanworth, with the other goals coming from Jamie Dodd and a Glyn Dyer penalty, but they could not make it two wins from two as they conceded two second-half goals to Chessington and Hook on Sunday.

Guernsey next travel to Colliers Wood United on Wednesday before again playing games next Friday, Saturday and Sunday because of a fixture pile-up.
