Leicester City have rejected a second bid from Championship rivals Nottingham Forest for captain Wes Morgan, reports BBC East Midlands Today.

The Reds are believed to have offered about £1.5m to re-sign the defender they sold to the Foxes in January 2012.

But Leicester manager Nigel Pearson last week said Morgan was not for sale and they have maintained that stance.

Morgan, 29, was at Forest for 10 years and was a key member of the team during Billy Davies first spell in charge.

Forest have also put in a second bid for Hearts midfielder Jason Holt, the BBC understands.
