Lincoln City 1-1 Hereford United

Hereford United stretched their unbeaten run to three matches with a draw at Lincoln City.

Frankie Artus scored his first goal of the season to snatch the point for the Bulls, steering home a Chris Bush cross just before full-time.

It cancelled out Ben Tomlinson's neat right-footer and left Lincoln without a home win since the end of September.

Tomlinson was shown a straight red card with seven minutes left for a challenge on Danny Leadbitter.

"I'm pleased we stopped the rot. After two defeats [against Plymouth Argyle in the FA Cup first round replay and Forest Green in the Conference Premier] and conceding lots of goals in them, we are disappointed that we didn't win the game.

"If you concede nine goals, the players are are not going to have the confidence they had before, that is only human nature.

"The players stuck together again, kept going and put their bodies on the line. I'm disappointed that the ball was allowed to bounce from that throw [which led to Artus's goal] and that is the only thing I can be disappointed about.

"They tried their best, gave it everything and that all I can ask of them."
