Truro City: Steve Tully to rotate Barry Hayles and Matt Wright

Truro City boss Steve Tully will rotate strikers Matt Wright and Barry Hayles.

Former Fulham striker Hayles has scored just three times this season, while Wright has yet to get off the mark following his move from Bideford.

"I'm going to try and use Barry and Matt in alternate games because I think they're good, powerful lads, work hard for the team and are big and strong," Tully told BBC Radio Cornwall.

"I think we'll get the best out of them by alternating them."

Tully has made no secret of his disappointment at Truro's start to the season, with the club winning only seven of their first 15 games in the Southern Premier League.

But he says 42-year-old Hayles, who also spent time at Leicester City and Plymouth Argyle, is key to his team's success.

"I think Baz has been disappointed with his form so far," continued Tully. "But I think at the start of the season we perhaps over-used him.

"But now we've brought Matt Wright in I think we'll see the best of Barry and Matt.

"Baz has been there and done it and has a wealth of experience and we know that if he gets a chance he'll put the ball in the back of the net - his experience in the squad is massive for us."

City will hope to get back to winning ways when they travel to Biggleswade Town on Saturday.
