Truro are through to the second qualifying round of the FA Trophy

Truro City manager Steve Tully says his team were "outstanding" in their 3-0 win over Egham Town in the FA Trophy.

Craig Duff scored twice to take his tally for the season to 12, while Ryan Brett got his first of the campaign.

"The way they played, they were outstanding," Tully told BBC Cornwall.

"Defensively we looked a lot stronger with the three centre-halves and two wing-backs. I thought the two boys up front, Barry Hayles and Matt Wright, did a really good job."

Tully added that his side could have scored more against an Egham Town outfit that plays in the division below the White Tigers.

"It could have been seven or eight," he said. "We could have killed it off and made it a lot easier for ourselves, but to be fair their keeper made some really good saves.

"We'll only get stronger and we're always looking to improve the team and squad, but we've got a good group of lads and we're not going to be far away this season."
