Wales forward Natasha Harding has left Bristol Academy to join Washington Spirit in the United States' National Women's Soccer League.
The 25-year-old, who has 38 international caps, has spent the last three seasons with the Vixens.
Harding's switch comes after Bristol qualified for the quarter-finals of the Champions League for the first time in their history.
Dave Edmondson's side will face Frankfurt over two legs in March.
Edmondson said: "It is with a mixture of sadness and excitement that we say farewell to Tash as she heads to Washington Spirit.
"Tash will be missed both on and off the field as much for her drive and commitment as her pace and attacking threat, but the opportunity to experience life and play in the NWSL is one she can't pass up.
"She will remain close to the heart of Bristol and she knows we will follow her progress in the States and we wish her well in this new endeavour."
Harding scored four goals in 17 appearances for the Women's Super League side this season.
