Former Torquay striker Danny Sullivan made his Truro City debut against Hitchin last Saturday

New signing Danny Sullivan scored the decisive goal, his first for Truro City, as the White Tigers beat Redditch United 3-2 at Treyew Road.

The ex-Torquay striker, who joined Truro last week, came off the bench to score the winner that kept City fifth in the Southern Premier Division.

George Carline put Redditch ahead but goals from Danny Greenslade and Craig Duff gave City a half-time advantage.

Carline equalised soon after the break before Sullivan's 67th-minute strike.

"I'm delighted with the result, I think we're in a knack of knowing how to win," manager Steve Tully told BBC Radio Cornwall.

City are now just six points behind leaders Weymouth and are now level on points with Redditch, but remain a place below them on goal difference.
