Port Vale 1-2 Fleetwood Town

  • Published

Two goals in nine first-half minutes earned Fleetwood Town a final-day victory at Port Vale.

Josh Morris volleyed in from 12 yards, before David Ball nodded Morris's corner down to Mark Roberts, who tapped in the second from a yard out.

Tom Pope headed narrowly over for the home side before the break, and then had a late shot come back off the bar.

Michael O'Connor pulled one back with a deflected effort in stoppage time, but the visitors held on to seal the win.
