Jeremie Cup: St Paul's consider entering competition in 2015-16

Jersey and Channel Island football champions St Paul's could return to the Jeremie Cup next season.

They have won all five trophies they contested this season, but pulled out of the Guernsey FA-run inter-island cup after making the last five finals.

"It was unfortunate for various reasons that we couldn't enter the Jeremie this year," manager Paul Brannan said.

"It's something we'll look at again over the summer and see if it's something we decide to do."

Saints won the Upton, the Wheway Cup, the Charity Cup, Le Riche Cup and the Jersey Premiership this season, making it the club's second-most successful season every.

In 2009-10 they became the only Jersey side to record a clean sweep of all six trophies available to the island's top-flight clubs.

"We're certainly an ambitious group and ambitious team and we want to win everything we can," Brannan told BBC Radio Jersey.

"If we do (enter the Jeremie Cup) it'd be fantastic to be pushing for all six trophies."
