Aaron Ramsey will join up with the Wales squad for a crucial Euro 2016 qualifier less than 48 hours after helping Arsenal defend the FA Cup.

Wales are second in their Euro 2016 qualifying group behind leaders Belgium on goal difference, who they face in Cardiff on 12 June.

Midfielder Ramsey, 24, says it will be the most important match he will have played for his country so far.

"It's definitely the biggest game I've been involved in for Wales," he said.

"I'm looking forward to that top-of-the-table clash. That's what you want to be involved in... it will be another great occasion I'm sure."

Barcelona have reportedly scouted Ramsey who has four years left on his Arsenal contract, even though they are under a transfer ban until 2016.

Ramsey was cool on the rumours ahead of the Gunners' 4-0 win over Aston Villa at Wembley on Saturday.

Arsenal finished third in the Premier League in 2014-15, 12 points behind champions Chelsea.

Ramsey hopes the victory by Arsene Wenger's side at Wembley can inspire them to challenge for the league title in 2015-16.

"We went a few years without winning anything and now we've won back-to-back trophies," he said.

"That's a great achievement and that's what a club like Arsenal should be doing every season anyway.

"Hopefully we can really kick on now and give it a really good go in the Premier League, and hopefully another good run in the FA Cup next year."
