Cambridge United have signed Leyton Orient defender Elliot Omozusi on a two-year deal.
The 26-year-old played 149 times for the O's over two spells at the club.
"We all hope for a strong season, but I'm sure, quietly, we will believe that there is a good chance to get promoted," he told the club website., external
"One of the reasons I signed is all the community projects that go on behind the scenes at Cambridge - that's something I hold pretty dearly."
Omozusi was sacked and jailed in 2011 for intimidating a witness in another case and rejoined Orient upon his release, having served 16 months of his two-and-a-half year sentence, for a second chance with the club.
