Arsenal academy product Josh Vickers has become Swansea City's third goalkeeper signing of the summer, joining the club on a two-year deal.

Vickers, 19, follows the returning Gerhard Tremmel, and Swede Kristoffer Nordfeldt, who joined from Heerenveen.

Goalkeepers David Cornell and Oliver Davies have left the Swans to join Oldham and Kilmarnock respectively.

"I'm really pleased to have signed my contract with the club," said Vickers, who has been on trial at Swansea.

Vickers was coached at Arsenal by Tony Roberts, now Swansea's goalkeeping coach, and worked alongside new Swans team-mate Lukasz Fabianski.

"It's going to be great to work with Tony and Lukasz again and everyone has welcomed me really well," he said.

Vickers expects to begin his Swansea career playing for the under-21 side.
