Liverpool Ladies and Notts County Ladies are through to the quarter-finals of the Continental Cup following victories on Wednesday.
Natasha Dowie scored and then set up Katrin Omarsdottir as Liverpool claimed a 2-0 win over Sunderland.
The victory ensured the home side maintained their unbeaten run in the competition and took their points tally in Group Two to 12.
"It was a great performance from start to finish," said Reds boss Matt Beard.
"I felt we defended really, really well and they didn't really cause us any problems.
"We were dominant and we should have scored from open play I felt.
"But it's good to get two from set-pieces, which is pleasing because we've been working on them a lot lately."
Elsewhere, Jess Clarke scored twice as Notts County claimed a 5-0 victory away at Aston Villa Ladies.
Ellen White, Danielle Buet and Rachel Williams also netted as the club joined Liverpool in the last eight of the tournament.
Fran Kirby hit a ten-minute hat-trick as Chelsea cruised to a 6-0 over Millwall Lionesses to go top of Group One, level on points with Arsenal.
Birmingham City were 4-0 home winners over Women's Super League Two side Yeovil Town to go second in Group Three.
London Bees' home fixture against Watford Ladies was postponed because of poor weather conditions.
