Truro City: Manager Steve Tully expects unbeaten run to end soon

Truro's form led to Tully being named Manager of the Month in National League South

Truro City manager Steve Tully says his side are aware that their great run of form will come to an end soon.

City have lost only one league game since the end of August and are unbeaten in their last 10 games.

"We're not stupid, we're not silly, we know that we're going to lose between now and the end of the season," Tully told BBC Radio Cornwall.

"Everybody keeps talking about this run that we're on, but to tell you the truth I'm not too bothered about it."

Truro are fifth in National League South, occupying the final play-off place, and have games in hand on all of their rivals.

"As far as I'm concerned we take one game at a time, we keep knocking them over one by one and we'll see where we end up," added Tully.

"If we're meant to be in the play-offs we're meant to be, if we're not, we're not and we go again next season."

Tully feels his side's good form is down to the belief that has built up in his squad, who recovered from winning only one of their first seven league encounters this season.

"They've got that determination, they've got that willingness to go that extra yard all over the pitch for each other.

"That's a great attitude to have that they never know when they're beaten."
