Port Talbot Town will be relegated from the Welsh Premier League at the end of the season after failing in their FAW domestic licence bid.

The club appealed after their original application was rejected earlier this month.

Cymru Alliance leaders Caernarfon Town's appeal was also rejected.

Cardiff Met University have been awarded a licence on appeal and will go up if they win the Welsh League.

They are currently two points behind leaders Barry Town United, who had already secured a domestic licence, but with three games in hand.

Haverfordwest and two-time champions Rhyl will finish the season as the Welsh Premier League's bottom two sides.

Cefn Druids, currently third in the Cymru Alliance, have been awarded a licence but will have to finish in the top two to gain promotion.

The FAW Domestic Licence is mandatory to participate in the Welsh Premier League.

Licenses are awarded based on criteria including sporting, youth & coaching, infrastructure and financial.
