Injury restricted Will Puddy's appearances for Bristol Rovers last season

Bristol Rovers goalkeeper Will Puddy has agreed a new contract with the League One club.

The 28-year-old only played 50 minutes of last season due to injury but has been at the club since August 2014 when he joined as emergency cover.

He played in the National League promotion play-off win against Grimsby at Wembley in May 2015.

"It was an easy decision to extend my stay with Rovers," Puddy said. "It's an ambitious club to be a part of."
