Truro City boss Lee Hodges says his side could not cope with the amount of players they had absent as they were thrashed 5-0 by Dartford at home.

City had to make do without forwards Rory Fallon and Louis Rooney who were away on international duty.

Meanwhile Jack Smith was recalled from his loan spell by parent club Eastleigh and Cody Cooke was out injured.

"If we haven't got our full quota we know it's going to be difficult," Hodges told BBC Radio Cornwall.

"We've been four unbeaten in the league and it is a downer, it is something I have to take on the chin, and I apologise to everyone.

"We'll move forward as a group, they're a good bunch of lads and they're all disappointed in the changing room, but we'll go again."
