Swansea City's Under-23 side reached the knockout stages of the EFL Trophy with victory over League Two leaders Plymouth Argyle.

First half goals from Daniel James and Oliver McBurnie, who has signed a new deal with the Swans, secured victory.

Argyle's Jordan Bentley was sent off after receiving his second yellow card for a foul on James.

The Swans qualify for the second round from the group along with AFC Wimbledon.
