Swansea City have been handed a boost with the news winger Nathan Dyer is set to return to training.

Dyer underwent surgery in September and was expected to be sidelined for two months.

The 28-year-old has made only two appearances for the Swans this season.

Dyer spent last season on loan with Leicester City and won the Premier League, but he extended his contract with the Swans at the start of the campaign.

The former Southampton winger will rejoin the Swans' squad ahead of their trip to Everton on November 19.

Following defeat by Manchester United Swansea are just one place off the bottom of the Premier League and six points from safety.
